ok so i stopped by the UPS store yesterday... gave them the dimensions of the hood and they said it's too big so they have to make a custom box and they can't ship it regularly.. only by a trucking company and would charge about $300 to ship to VA. There's no way anyone is paying that much for shipping.
Anyone know how other people ship hoods w/out paying a leg and an arm?
If i can't ship this thing... someone local or nearby can come pick this up for $300
Anyways Merry Christmas all =D

The marks on the hood, people say you can buff it right out if u wanna keep the carbon fiber look. I'm not a fan of carbon fiber look and got the hood because of the design and always had the intention of painting it even if there was no blemishes.

flyboi....I am seriously considering this hood ( cf )....I would be willing to drive about 4hrs in your direction to get it....its about a 6hr drive from kingston Ontario. I need to see a couple of better pictures first.....sorry. I know its off your car so a few pics would be great...and if you get it done today.....maybe we could get this done as early as tomorrow. let me know.

Ok, good news... i finally found a good shipping company with a good price.
If i ship this out, it'll be $285 + shipping
If someone picks it up, $300.
Someone from cali was curious how much it'd cost to have this shipped there and to 94402 (SF area) was about $360
For VA area it was about $280
Those are the shipping rates, just so everyone has an idea of the range.... These prices are without the box but boxing it shouldn't cost much.
I PM'd everyone back, first come first serve now

awesome, i have a few people interested in picking it up... and that'll save me a lot of trouble...
so i'm gonna try to get some more pictures of the hood up close and with different angles so you know exactly what to expect =D
