wow bump for a fine quality intake box. Didnt even know ARC made intake for RX-8s

 

think it was discontinued....but ya this is a high quality piece

They had two models, one with a panel filter and this one that uses a cone filter. The panel filter looks better.

 

Will any cone filter of the right size work with this, or do you need to get replacements from ARC themselves?

Or can you just wash the filter out (unfamiliar with filters!)?

 

You can wash and re oil the filter...I just did that...

Info on the panel filter? Was it a bos a la typical ARC design? Never heard of that one...
