Yep, they're all black cloth and gray microfiber.

If you're patient ballistic, you an get the whole set for around $1k. Keep an eye on ebay and even hit up used parts search website. I think it's www.car-part.com.

I got everything off ebay except the steering wheel, which I bought from a guy off here.

Think I paid just over $1k shipped for everything.

If you go with black leather, no need to change your door panels (but that's no fun!).

 

For about$750-900, you could buy custom leather covers to replace the cloth. Someone on here posted about a company that does that. You might have to search a bit, but I found the website he linked and all looks pretty good. I'm at work, so I don't have the link here.

 

I'd almost be willing to do that for my car.

I've got the red/black leather interior and when I sell it, I'm selling steering wheel, seats, and door panels and will probably price it around 1000 + shipping.

Uh, I had my old RXS done in high quality leather for like 1k and it looked awesome.

 

I'll sell you a full black leather set (2 front heated, and 2 back) shipped to you for $1000, you can keep the cloth set how about that It has 500 miles on it if that. Taken out of a friends car who was autocrossing since I knew how to remove it then he moved out of state, now I'm stuck with it and Mazdaparts.com does not sell used items otherwise I'd unload it on there.

I even have a used extra heated seat button as well so you only need to purchase one more (my friend has the other and maybe never used it, I'll check on it), I think they go for $96 new I'll sell it for $35 with the purchase of the seat (maybe wire them both together so they both go on with this single switch). I can probably get you a new shifter console piece that has the holes already but your better off cutting them yourself with a dremel or buying it used on the forum.

No you were clear I just read while tired . I may be able to swap it with a red set but that set has 20K miles on it or so with usually only a driver, no passengers.

i would prefer red but other COLORed leather seats are open as well, just not black

I actually went from cloth to leather...got a good deal on the entire swap for well under a grand. Then I sold most of my cloth stuff for about 300 just to get it out of the way. I was talking with a friend who was mildly interested in buying my 8, and he actually asked about the possibility of swapping the leather to cloth (he didnt know I had swapped from cloth to leather already), so there are people who would do this.
