F/S RX8 Hi Compression Competition Engine Rotors Pics inside $700.00
Here is my second and last set of RX8 Competition Rotors. these are 10:1 compression and have been Lightened by removing .100 material from the inner rotor faces as well as have been race clearanced on both rotor faces. they have been match balanced and also cut to accept 3mm Apex seals. The bearings are in excellent condition. These rotors are ready to drop into your NA assembly for some major power. The black paint on the rotors is actually Graphite Spray used to protect the rotors from rusting while in storage.
Rotor Weights are
Front Rotor = 8.889 lbs
Rear Rotor = 8.902 lbs
Price is $700.00 Shipped

So the stock rotor is about 9.2LBS which means these are approximately .3LBS lighter. Granted, most of that weight is toward the outside which will reduce centrifical loads but you might want to explain how loosing .3LBS of rotational mass can make "major power". I am not saying they wont, I just think a better explanation and estimation of power gains is in order. I am also awear that racing beat sells (or tries to sell) their 9LB rotors for $2100, however they dont claim "huge power" they say they help reduce centrifugal loads to improve bearing life AND reduce flexing of the eccentric shaft which help reliability.
Also, how many people have been running these rotors or similar rotors and with what success, Power and Reliabilty?

In essence, Major Power is merely an adjective in description to what Im selling. Major power is such a loose term that what may be Major to you may seem meaningless to me. No, you are not going to make Major power by just replacing rotors but by using these rotors along with other required and suggested Modifications to your engine you should see more power than you started with. As for the reduction in rotational weight… yes it does help as well as having your Rotating assembly Both Dynamically and static balanced as well.
Hope this helps..
