Now is the time to buy, we just got ours last month. The neighbors are pissed because we essentially moved into a expensive area for about 80K less then they did The builder was getting a divorce and needed to unload the house ASAP. Needless to say he had to bring 35K to the closing table Now if I could only sell our house in NY.

Why the fk would you do that? Keep your G kit and get the upgrade = cheaper = faster = safer...

You have no clue what you are talking about.

The greddy manifold cracks...how is that safe?

How often does this happen? I'm just going by the basics of both kits.

I've build bigger turbo setups than anyone on this board I have ran across and can assure you the MM kit is a superior kit. HOWEVER, That is not to knock the Esmeril kit because it has done some somewhat impressive numbers within the last month or so and shows some promise.

The perfect turbo for this car is a 3052, 3065 if you are feeling snappy, someone will figure that out one day and the rest of the world will be in big trouble. Why run a turbo so far out of its efficiency range? The world will never know.. lol

What a complete load of horse ****.

The GReddy manifold does not crack.
Its made to the same standards that OE manifolds have been made for yeas.
A solid cast piece is ALWAYS going to be more durable than a welded piece, regardless of materials.

It happens without the Upgrade so just imagine with it.

The extra weight puts immense stress on a red hot manifold that is only cast iron. Without an additional support system it fails. How do I know...we used to sell the Greddy turbo kit. And reports from many customers.

Ceramic coating it causes failure MUCH MUCH quicker as it concentrates the heat.

Ceramic coating the manifold or turbine housing on a rotary application is dumb.
We don't need to hold the heat in - there is plenty to get the job done.

There is little to no weight stress on the manifold - that is what the brace is for.

"Only" cast iron? There is nothing more supple than hot ductile iron.
That is why your manifold is made out of cast weld-els, isn't it?
