is 440g heavy? will it hurt the transmission if the shiftknob is too heavy?

440 is fairly heavy for an after market shift ****. And NO it wont hurt your transmission, in fact the heavier the **** the easier will the shifts be since the lever will tend to fall in in gear more easily, that being said the stock **** is pretty heavy, and actually I am pretty sure it's heavier than this one, however the big difference lies in the shifting feeling, this one sits a lot lower, and the shifts feel a lot more precise, giving you a more direct feel of the transmission.
