Esmeril Turbo Kit sans turbo, Low mileage
Alright everyone, I've decided that I need to reorganize my life a bit financially, so I am going to put this up as a tentative for sale, just to check for interest. Some of you may recognize the kit from my build thread, but again, the only thing that was physically broken was the turbocharger, all other parts are in perfect working order.
Up for sale is the Esmeril Racing turbo kit, with everything but the turbo, as mine was a factory defect and was replaced by a Garrett unit. Another turbocharger from MazdaParts.com will run $550 as quoted by Jason himself, and this is all that is needed to complete the kit. Everything else in the kit is in great shape and will work just fine.
Again, this is a complete kit, with all the piping, hoses, oil lines, interceptor-X, injectors, fuel pump, everything except the turbo.
All I am looking to get is $4250 + shipping.
Pics available by request.

Bump it up, I wanna go to grad school!
Oh and the Garrett GT 3076 is for sale for $1200, only seen about 50 miles of use, and that's over $200 off of ATP Turbo's price.

I did upgrade the turbo with a GT3076 which set me back about $1400 - how much were you looking for the kit without the turbo?
As far as parting out, what parts specifically were you looking to get?

Also, I just checked the MazdaParts.com website - the price for the kit is without any engine management system, which will cost at least $700 for a used Interceptor.
As far as parting out, I would rather not separate the kit, but if worse comes to worse, I'll keep you in mind, Mr. x8tuner44.

That actually sounds like a plan - the only problem is you'll have to rework the kit a little bit to get the AccessPORT to work with it. Contact MazdaManiac for specifics, but it basically boils down to the position of the MAF being after the turbo.
yea well.. i have the mazdaspeed cold air intake and i think i can use that to positon the MAf sensor properly... not sure though
Yea i read about it being the exact same design just with the mazdaspeed logo on it and that expensive price tag lol
MM would it work properly with the esmeril kit? or would i require a custom intake?>

Customizing in this case would mean relocating the MAF to a position before the turbo and adding a similar screening system like the factory airbox, correct?

Good business, thanks for the help MM!
05RX8Mazda, are you still interested in the kit? If so, shoot me a PM and we can figure out all the details for the sale.

wassup_nuthin may be interested in this kit btw - he and I were discussing turbo options, and I first learned about the esmeril from him. Not sure if he's ready for boost now, but I am, however since I live so close to Mazda Maniac, I'm going to get his Greddy-based kit for simplicity, but the asking price of the Esmeril seems reasonable considering it's had a $1400 upgrade. Good luck with the sale - free bump for boost!
Maybe I'm in idiot in reading this thread, but the way I understand the sale, and do correct me if I'm wrong, is the Esmeril Turbo kit is for sale, without a turbo, and the Garrett turbo is also for sale? So, if I bought the kit, I would need to spend an extra 500-1200 or more to get another turbo?
I apologize if I am misunderstanding, that's just the way I read it.
