Ok, the story behind this kit...
The person I bought it from installed it on his 8 and started the car up and let it idle in his garage, it supposedly started smoking and he pulled everything apart and claimed the turbo was leaking oil. He decided he didn't want to deal with it, pulled the kit off and sold it to me. So this kit is basically brand new!

ZERO MILES ON THIS KIT!

It's been in my garage for a few months and I decided to go a different direction with my FI setup so this kit is now for sale.

This is the newer version of the kit with the Precision 6265 with the Billet Wheel.

NOTE: THE TURBO WILL BE BROUGHT TO BOOSTLAB IN TAMPA TO BE COMPLETELY REBUILT BEFORE THE SALE. Not sure if it's even necessary could have been an install issue with the kit, in either case it will be rebuilt and I will provide the buyer with proof of this service.

The Kit is missing the Oil Feed(-4an) and Return Lines(-10an), and the fuel injectors that are usually included, the previous owner sold them before I bought the kit.
Oil lines are easy to get and I would recommend the Injector Dynamics 1000cc injectors over the RC Engineering Injectors that are usually included anyway.

I'm trying to remember how the turbo sits on the manifold but it looks to me that the oil drain is on the wrong side or the fittings are mounted wrong. Easily fixed and it the turbo is being rebuilt so that is a great deal.

 

Yea you're right in the pics it is clocked the wrong way, like you said it will be rebuilt and I will make sure it's clocked the right way, with this turbo it's very simple.

Bump, I now have the Interceptor X as well, $5000 Shipped(Should be about $150 to ship via FedEx and Insured) and Paypaled(3% Fee, another $150) including the Interceptor X.

Basically the same as the Interceptor X, in fact it's what they originally recommended with their kit.

As part of my very initial investigation into eventually turbo'ing my 8, I hope you don't mind me asking this. Would I need anything else as far as engine management goes given that I already own an AccessPort?

 

This kit can be tuned with an Accessport but it is recommended to use a different MAF housing that's the same as the Stock Inner Diameter(3.375"in) and to place a screen before the MAF. This is to ensure proper MAF readings because an Accessport uses MAF based tuning as opposed to an Interceptor X or Microtech which is MAP based.

My bike won't be paid off until early next year so unfortunately I gotta pass on this. This is basically a steal though. These are quality name brand parts and are several thousand dollars under-priced. For $4500 you could get a functional GReddy kit that will struggle to lay down 320rwhp and need to be rebuilt every year or so.

 

Thanks for the Bump, come on someone buy this kit. Don't forget the Turbo will be rebuilt before you get the kit, so it's like buying a new kit for a fraction of the cost.
