Do you have pictures of the housings? How many miles were on this engine?

 

I will buy the housings if they are as good as you say they are. I would like to see a couple of pics first, but consider them sold.

I will also take the OMP.

Parts came today, thanks for the better packaging. Everything survived okay and nothing was hanging outside the box.

However, this is a little suspect, wouldn't you agree? Did you just not see this? This is apex seal fragment damage from some previous incarnation of build. Yes, I can doctor this up, but it will never be desirable for a customer build, and anyone who found this in an engine I built would frown on it. And yes, I could send it out for resurfacing, but what was the point in paying you as much as I did if I had to do that too?

Somewhere there is a rotor with matching damage at the tips and on the faces.

 

I undeleted the previous post with the housing pics (though they don't show the same area of the housing)

Stigma, don't delete posts just because the item sold. It makes it seem like you have something to hide.

 

The park right above the air box with three plastic things in it. Connects to the manifold.

 

To be fair, I know buying used engine internals is a real crapshoot, his description and pics were poor/nealry useless, but with usable housings as hard to come by as they are, I felt it was worth the gamble. So while I do bear some of the responsibility for them not being in excellent condition, I do think that Stevie Wonder could have seen that damage and said something or made a point to take a pic of it.

 

Yeah, I saw the post and was curious, then saw that he had deleted the post with the original pics, so I undeleted it.
