I don't know what gen it is, I have had it for less than a year and I bought it brand new, other than PayPal Is there any other options for payment?

The first set of Cobb AP devices came with this messed up Dongle solution that plugged in to the ODBII plug with a bendie usb plug.

The second set comes with a solid cable and 9 pin plug on the AP itself.
Sounds like you have a second gen.

Sorry I've not used anything other than e-transfers or PayPal.

Isn't the a google solutaion?

$300 is not worth it to me. Spend $300 or $350 and get the Mazda Maniac tune it comes out to more than $600, you might as well by one new from him. My top offer is $275 + shipping.
