My car is going up for salvage, but I want to keep my nice rims so I need to replace them with something. I'll take any size, color, or condition as long as it fits an 8 and is cheap.

I am considering finding new winter rims so I'm not mis-matched this winter, and the tires are on the edge anyway. 3 junk beat up tuner rims, 1 Mazda6 rim, all 4 with lots of curb damage from before I bought them, winter tires on them with ~4/32 tread or so.

All 17x7s. If you don't find something else let me know, I could part with them for cheap.

Size? I only do 17s for winter. 18" winter tires make the price skyrocket with a decrease in performance. No reason to.

Been keeping an eye on other Mazda forums for a set of OEM wheels cheap from the 6, Speed3, CX7 or CX9. All are the right size.


OP, this might be an option for you as well, if you just need wheels and tires and 17s won't be an issue.

Not really. About 12-14 hour drive.

That's a great deal, but those are 5x100mm. RX8s are 5x114.3mm.
