A highflow cat will not through a cel, otherwise you will need a stock cat. Or get a cobb and turn off 2nd sensor.

That is not worth it. Especially at $650 bucks.

Rx7store.net has one, not sure if that one will not give you a CEL. do a little search and find out. But don't buy the BHR. it would be a rip off.

i dont know seems like a good deal considering the workmanship, and the quality of the materials. also the Davesport cat so far is the only HF that seems to last

to make one similar to BHR it would probably cost you about the same
lets say you get your own straight pipe here on the forum for $150 + shipping
Davesport cat $138 + shipping
BHR Resonator [no rice rasp] 150 + shipping
the cost of welding ??

If your willing to pay that fine by me. Im just not going to push onto him a product that is overpriced when he doesn't really need the resonator or the polishing. Even starting out 450 for a resonated pipe? really??

RB straight pipe $260 new
Magnaflow high flow cat $90
and like $100 in welding
$450 total.

There are definitely better and cost efficient replacements.

It comes down to how long the cat lasts and sound to determine if it is worth the money. I think the BHR pipe sounds the best, but I'm not sure much testing has been done on the cat longevity. I'd put my money on it lasting longer than the magnaflow though.

He put the price of a used pipe. $260 (new RB pipe) + $140 + $150 = $550 + welding + shipping. Pretty close to BHR's price

edit: This is not what the thread is for. Guy wants a pipe that doesn't give a CEL. That's limits him to any pipe he wants + catalytic converter, not a discussion of if a BHR pipe is worth it for him. RP supercat and BHR have a cat, or you can put a cat of your choice onto any pipe. Bear in mind high temps from the rotary engine don't deal well with cheaper cats.

They stand by their product though and have replaced a few cats under warranty I think.

Okay, just took in all that information.
Like j8635621 and whitesnowflake was kinda saying . . .

I want a pipe that:
-has a cat.
-does not throw CEL
-does not need to be polished
-does not need to be resonated
