Big Country Labs - Universal Atmosphere Destroyer

Category: Exterior - Body Parts
Price: $400
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part Fits (you may select multiples): Others, Series I, Series II
Location (US State/Canada/Int): OH
Item Condition: Used

I am selling my BCL wing and custom support setup since I have preordered a chassis mounted wing.
Complete BCL Atmosphere Demolisher Kit = $400 + shipping
Custom Support Braces = $150 + shipping
I can provide more pictures upon request. The wing comes with all hardware & extra sets of hardware (minus one bolt and washer that I cannot retrieve). I would recommend replacing all hardware with stainless steel as it tends to corrode being exposed to the elements. I have only had this wing on my car for 3/4 of a year. The wing material is FRP, with "manly" mounts (not FD legal) Condition is only ok for the following reasons, however is better than when I received the wing.
- Wing was likely damaged in transit, resulting is slight scratches on the FRP finish. I plastidipped the deck to cover these imperfections.
- Deck mount/landing for the 90 degree upright piece was not even flat (possibly a moulding error on BLC's part). I had this shaved down to mount properly.
- The mounting holes in the deck for the 90 degree mount piece mentioned above were not straight. I had these re-tapped and locktight used to seal the bolts in. Since the material is FRP, these should only be removed if absolutely necessary. Risk of damaging the wing upon removal is high (for these two brackets only).
The benefit of buying this setup is that you do not have to risk having the same manufacturing defects. These defects were not fun to deal with.
I am selling the support rods separately. The only item the custom support rods will not come with is the custom mounts to the bumper. I can provide insight and rough measurements for this if you would like. Each of those stainless steel rods cost $100 new from Mcmastercarr.
Don't be too deterred, the wing looks pretty awesome as is and I got more compliments on it than my car. Let me know if you have any questions. Shipping is on the buyer, but I promise to pack the items exceptionally well and try to ship for the cheapest possible cost. Thank you for looking.

***Update - upon preparing the wing for shipping purposes, I discovered one of the end plate bolts spins freely in place (aka stripped threads). I have reduced the price by $75 so you can get that (and the 3 other threads for the end plate bolts) retapped.

I usually ship through USPS or Fedex, lately the later. I typically find a box and place the item inside, weigh it and get a shipping estimate from the website. Full address will provide an exact shipping price.

I pack items very well, have not yet had a problem with damage during shipping (knock on wood).
