I have a 6 port 13B engine for sale. Comes from a 2005 RX-8 with 72k miles. I have it stripped to the core. It'll need to be rebuild as it has low compression.

The engine needs works, but it does turn on fine and runs fine. I have videos if you want them. Compression numbers...at 200 rmp rotor 1: 4.0, 4.1, 4.0 rotor 2: 4.4, 4.3, 5.0

250 rpm rotor 1: 5.2,5.0,5.3 rotor 2: 6.1, 5.5, 5.4

You'll be expected to put the engine on a small or medium sized pallet, secure the block to the pallet (ratcheting cargo straps, banding, rope tied tightly, etc.), print the shipping document that I email to you, and make the shipment available for pickup from a non residential business location (dock, forklift, loading ramp, or 2 strong guys to lift) or drop off at the nearest terminal (lebanon, pa).

Im confused here as well ... its either for sale or not for sale ... this is not an auction.

 

To make it clear, its for sale for $500 Have a local guy talking to me, but nothing for certain yet. Thus why I made the post to see if anyone else is interested. Hope that makes better sense.

After looking back at our convos, I realize that when I made my last post I had confused you with another guy I'm also trying to buy from, and his core is in unknown/blown condition. Since you are assuring me that yours is not blown I am willing to pay the 500 as previously discussed on FB. So if you want to accept let me know so that I can send funds and arrange the shipping. I can send via paypal or USPS MO. I'll need all your info to set up the shipping as well...name/pickup address/phone.

 

Paimon is right, the FS section is not an Auction, you list your price (+ shipping, if required) and that is all.

Our SALES rules are adhered to for very good reason.

ANY posts with offers or bids which is/are inconsistent with original asking price will be removed.

PM the Seller IF you (the Buyer) has specific requirements which is not listed.

I had a standing offer to buy with cash in hand and would even arrange the shipping, but was never offered the chance to pay. I'm still not really sure what the point of this thread was.

I know you did and I still remember. Point was to post up engine before I started my partout thread, which I have already done. So this thread can get deleted. Was thinking I could find somebody local, as I would need to find supplies to ship the engine on/with. But, looks like shipping will have to be my option.
