I am looking for an interior piece of the dash. It is the plastic center speaker cover that sits right above the stereo display, under the center of the front windshield. Item is circled in blue in the attached image.

Sounds like you couldn't complete a compression test. Any visible damage to the engine?

 

Correct. Unforunately I tried and got weird numbers (Engine out of the car and testing with batter/starter). I know that's not the proper way to test it, but with the damage impacting the ecu, there was no way to start the car, so I tried to do it this way at least. I have the engine to the core, and there is no visible damage to the outside. The damage hit the battery, so there is some residue though.

So, essentially I would have to sell as is without knowing if it's actually good or not.

 

How much have you stripped from the motor? I'm guessing the easily sold parts like starter, alternator, etc. Do you have a number in mind to sell as-is? I have a 2009 R3, and want to rebuild/modify a second motor as a father/son project.

 

Got the E-brake rubber/leather sleeve? Shipped to 85050?

 

I have it down to the core (housings, front/rear plate, etc.) Everything that bolted on is off including the start, alternator, wires, etc. I can let it go for 750 as is. Not many S2 cores out there. I just coudn't get a good compression reading with my set-up out of the car, but I don't think the wreck caused that. However, only way to really find out is to either tear it apart or to install in another s2.

 

Not exactly sure what sleeve you are talking about, but I can sell the whole r3 e-brake for $90, and $10 to ship.

 

Sorry I haven't replied yet. The center piece I can do $40 plus shipping. The rear tails I have for $300 each. Not sure where you are getting your prices, but they are extremely low for what they are selling for on S2's

Unfortunately I only have the driver left side. Not sure what price you are looking for but they are expensive. New runs over $450. If you need the plastics, it's even more. I've been asking $275 for mine for fog and plastics. If interested I can try to find a right passenger.

Do you have the OEM door amps? If so how much do you want for them? Also, how much for the center speaker on top of the dash?

 

I appreciate your offer to help locate a front right fog light. I am still in need of one. The fog light works, it just has a cracked lens. Does this mean I need the whole assembly? Or can I just replace the lens?
