I'm guessing you just bought your car recently as you just joined the forum but that's pretty much the going rate for a mazdaspeed bumper especially with the fog light brackets that are also discontinued and had to be imported from Japan for over $200. I've gotten tons of offers for $1500+ already.

Plus you can't buy them anymore and I've seen tons sell for around that price.

 

Just IMO, telling individuals, the people you are trying to sell something do that you paid WAYY less than what your asking, probably a bad idea.

It's funny, I had this listed a year ago and decided not to sell and people were upset I didn't sell, now I decide to sell and people are complaining about the price of a discontinued item that cost $1600 new painted from Mazda, without fogs, and is discontinued. If you don't like the price of the bumper, just buy a copy and spend $800+ trying to get it to kinda fit. This is direct fitment, the real deal. I actually lowered the prices since then.

 

Yeah but you'll end up having to spend hundreds if not thousands getting it to fit and with that logic, a bumper from japan won't match either since it'd have to be repainted or being CF lol

 

The fitment comment is you’re assumption. I suppose some people paint their CF hood or trunk, but not usually. It really doesn’t matter since it’s only my situation/view. Which is also why you don’t need to be defensive. I’m sure it will sell eventually. Consider it a free bump ...

 

I apologize if it seems I'm being defensive, just seems like I'm being attacked for a listing I made a year ago lol

Man it's a real shame no one ever bought your car. If I had known about it before I bought mine I would've flown over there with cash in hand. Seen your ad on here for ages then the purelyrx8/rx8classifieds on Facebook. Good luck with sale I'd definitely part it out and replace the car with the originals and sell it we're asking way too low imo for the whole car.
