lol....i don't know!!!! I got the car 5 months ago too! By coincidence (sp?) one of my friends got a car the same day i got my 8 and he got his plates like 3 weeks later. My cousin bought herself a car like 2 months after i got mine, and she also got her plates like 3 weeks later.

just a question to ask. I'm not too familiar w/the different packages of the 8. As you can see in my pix i put up, my car has the side skirts, and a little lip on the front. It's also the 6spd. tranny if it makes a difference. Can anybody tell me what package my 8 has?

Well for sure you have the appearance package. Foglights and no moonroof, correct? Then from what I can see you have the sport package. :D

yup....fogs no moonroof is correct . It's nice to know what package i have is exactly .

I want to get a spoiler for my 8. The stock one doesn't really appeal to me though. I like the X-men wing/spoiler, but i also like this other one i've seen. Looks like a low-key wing. I've seen a few 8's here with it already. I'll get a pic of the one i'm talking about when i find it

EDIT:
found the wing i was looking for

and the X-men wing

Nice pics. What rims are those and what percent tint is that on the back window, looks very dark. I have trouble seeing out the back sometimes with 15% tint.

flawless, those rims look like Axis Hiro's.

xrider01, that is the Mazdaspeed wing. You should get the front and rear rotary accents, it would add a lot to the car. Do you know what spoiler that is on your car now? As far as I know, that is not the stock one (at least, that is not what mine looks like.)

@ flawless: On the back, i have Limo Black tint, and on the two front windows i have dark tint.

@ sampson: thanks for the info man . I'm sure i've seen them, but can you show me a pic or link to the accents your talking about? And the rims are the Axis Hiros

Great looking car. Looks very sharp with the appearance package. You've seriously never been pulled over for plates?? And it takes that long for plates in the states? Here in Canada I got the plates the same day I took it in for registration. If I were to get custom plates, it was a 2-3 week wait.

You can probably order the MS wing from the vendors here or from a local body shop. I think that there are a couple of replica MS wings around too but I'm not too sure about where to get them.

Thanks man . and ya, i've never been pulled over for the plates. Normally here in the states it takes like 3-6 weeks to get the plates by mail. I seriously don't know why i haven't gotten mine yet . Guess i gotta call up the DMV sometime soon. =\.

You can probably find them from one of the vendors here, or another member, but I'm not sure how much they'll cost.

i'd have to get the accents. paint will chip away, become dirty, change colors. whereas the accents, they seem to be constructed of metal. Easily polished, won't chip away, overall, easier to maintain. Besides, it won't look ghetto lol :p.

anyways, i took some pix of my trunk. My trunk suits my needs well enough, although i do realize that there is better out there .
