Cool 'XMEN Kit' Installed with MS Mirrors

Hey guys & gals, I've been a lurker around here for sometime and would like to thank everyone for sharing so much information that has now intern drained my bank of everything it's worth! :D
Anyways.. I orderd the Xmen kit from Erebuni, I only purchased the front of the kit as I already had the apperance package plus the Mazda exhaust finishers. It came in unfinished fiberglass that had to be sanded and painted and then I installed the front vents myself with a lil help from a couple of friends.
The MS mirrors came from VividRacing, who I'm sure we all know of. Huff was a great help and sent them out to be painted and had them at my door in no time.
Overall I'm extremly pleased with the outcome.
I have more pics at Cardomain but I'll try to attach a few here as well.
xEll

What the the side mirrors set you back, and do they have power/heat? I had heard they lacked both.

JasonHamilton,
The mirrors retain the electric feature but not the heated and I honestly can't remember how much I paid, I think it was around $500 plus shipping but that's including painting. Talk to Huff, he'll sort you out with no problems.

Hitmann,
I didn't buy the whole kit, I bought just the front. The price on the Erebuni site is for the whole kit.

Greene76,
Thanks man, subtle but unique!!, I think I have the only one in the USA, I'll cya in the lounge sometime then..

i think it looks pretty good. At least you wont see another 8 with your front (for a while). Matches pretty well with the 8 IMO.

awesome awesome car....

XMen kit looks like it was designed for the car....i think the car looks best with the Xmen wing too...

nice and clean, way better than MS kit which is so run of the mill that looking at it from the front looks like any japanese import, ie. s2000....

Hey JY-8,
I ran with that setup in your photoshoped version of my pic for a month. Basically until I had time to take off my own bumper and remove my fogs, drill a few holes and install the rest of the kit.
I didn't just put all the pieces on in one go, I held up every individual vent and then gave it to my girl while I stood back and contemplated every move. This wasn't about making my car look like the 'Xmen' car, it was seeing if the vents added a style to the car that I prefered.
Without doubt to me the car looks much better the way I have it set up now, rather than JY-8's photchoped version.
Just like every photo of the 8 it really doesn't do it the justice unless you see it in person. The combination of the vents and the mirrors really give it a more aggressive vibe which is what I was looking for.
Btw, there were no instructions on installing this kit, I just got some ***** and went for it myself. Just trying to be a lil different that's all..
xEll

i think both settings look good.
Yes you are right, it's hard to judge the kit unless you see it in person...anyway, it's a very unique car, very nice!

Looking good, too bad they didnt make a design that will work with fog lights.
