Actually you probably wouldn't get a much of a door ding here. It's so close together the door can't catch enough speed to hit hard enough. Obviously there are exceptions like people who kick their doors open.
Still, I'll park farther away and walk an extra block - better than spending $75 for dent removal ~and thats the price for 1 small one.

if that girl had just pulled into a parking spot i might have too park that close to her.but serious i always park far away i would rather walk than have someone ding my door.
