UPS dropped them off at 12pm, promptly took them to Discount Tire and had them on by 2pm

18x7.5 I paid $89 each, but now they are $79 each. What side shots do you want/need exactly?

Look great. I just ordered the RP02's in chrome from edgeracing.com for $119. They are having a great sale. Can't wait to get them installed. The rims only weigh 18 lbs.

They are an 18x7.5!?!?!?!? why would you want to put a skinnier wheel on the car.... the stock 18's are 18x8 I have a set of stock 17x7.5 that came off my 2005 Mazda 3 that I could have just GIVEN to you..... :-) I can't see the pictures because I am at work and can only see pics if they are attached to the thread not just posted... I'll check them out later tonight.... 18 lbs. is light, but my 19x8.5 Racing Hearts on the front only weight 23 lbs... the 19x10's on the rear only weigh 26 lbs...

did you pay $89 each for those? width is no big deal to me cause they fit the stock tire perfect and I probably could go one or two sizes wider with no problem. The main reasons why I went with the 7.5 are: weight, though I doubt I will ever notice this different; price, the 18x8's were $40-$50 more; finally(as I prepare to get flamed), this should allow more air to get directed towards the brakes to allow them to run cooler, I think these stick out 1mm farther and provide me with 11mm more inner clearance. And did I mention I only paid $89 each for them?

I do plan on eventually getting some AME's or Advan's once i win the lotto.

yea,
i got this also... i got them at 105... includes tuner lugs and hubcentric rings....

stock rim weighs 24 lbs... this weighs 18.... sold all stock wheels, after mounting i put 100 bucks in the bank... at 79.... i am pissed, but a happy pissed...

not the best look i agree, but you can feel a difference!!!

the hot ticket right now is they have some black crome ones.... have thought about a change.

btw, nothing against racing harts. that money goes to a prolight and a stage one clutch... and will have money left over..

beers

Actually, its more like 22.5 lbs. Brillo has a pic in his vbGarage of the stock rim on a scale I believe. Still, going down to 18lbs is a great savings in weight. I'm running Enkei RPM2s and they are 19lbs.

By the way, I believe 225 is the widest you can go on a 7.5 width rim. You MIGHT be able to go 235, but definitely not 245.

The rim width won't have a noticable different in cooling your brakes. The very thin spokes will have a much bigger difference. Now you just need coilovers and slotted rotors and your all set

I got Hawk pads and powerslot rotors already...I am saving up for some coilovers and Racing Brake BBK. I researched the max tire size and I read somewhere that 245 was the biggest I can get on them.

double checked and supposably 245/40's wont fit but 245/45's will.

thx,

now that i think about it and the 24 lbs is the weight when you ship them box and all...

i think my future goal for these wheels are 235 40 18 kumho mx for aggressive driving weekends and track day...

and some pretty wheels that i dont care how much they weigh for slogging day in and day out... with some more spts....

problem is i have 20k miles and i think they are going to go another 30...

beers
