Great website. Being for women who apparently are clueless about cars they provide definitions for all the otherwise confusing technical terms.
True example -- "Manual Transmission: A system where the driver selects the proper amount of power and torque linking the power of the engine to the wheels. Involves a stick shift and is normally available in 4, 5 or 6 forward gears and 1 reverse. The driver manually depresses a clutch and selects the proper gear via a shifter usually mounted on a center console. The clutch, gas, and shifter have to be coordinated in order to obtain smooth and rapid shifts. The benefits of a manual transmissions are: greater control over the transmission, lower initial purchase cost, depending on the make and model, a greater number of forward gears which aid in fuel economy and help take the best advantage of the engine's range of power." Yeah, that'll clear it up for the local blonde.
How about this instead: "Manual Transmission: You move a little stick thingy by your knee to make your car go zoom-zoom."
Anti-flame disclaimer: Ladies, I'm being facetious. Those of you who frequent these pages have been knowledgeable and thoughtful contributors. I think the womenmotorist.com site is talking down to the gentler sex when they really don't need to. I hope you catch my sense of satire. Ain't no flame like a woman scorned.

They need to get their facts straight:
"The Miata was introduced in 1989 designed as a light-weight roadster, a fun toy also practical for everyday driving. The RX-7, at that point, had become a high-performance sports car. It remained in production in the US until 1998, and in Japan until 2002."
The FD3S ceased production in 1995, the last JDM FD3S, the Spirt R, rolled off early this year.

Since you ask... If we were to buy one now, we would trade her car in, and she would drive it to work. But, she told me, if we wait until her car is paid off, we could add one as a "Sunday car"... Yes... a third car. But that would not happen until Spring of 2005.
Hard decision to make.

Not an assassin, actually a bio-chemist. But a good one! If we did use an RX-8 for a getaway car, I would be the one driving. She would be the good looking blonde sitting next to me. :D
