I use OEM ashtray and gauges caps (upside down) to make my gauge pod using acrylic glue mixed with baby powder to make it easily moulded. Finishing it with a little black leather.

I have a lot of pictures with this procedure, if you want them…

As for the wheels I’m on 235X35X19 front and 265X30X19 rear and the speedometer difference is 1.960% (faster).

I don't think our tach's are off by 500 rpms, it's just that the fuel cutoff isn't till 9500 rpms. There is a difference between redline and fuel cutoff, my old SE-R Spec V had just 250 rpms past redline to the cutoff and it was really annoying hitting it. I'm glad we have that 500 rpms leway, I haven't hit the cutoff yet.

I haven't heard an NA car that loud. Did you just put the high flow cat and exhaust or something? Even my set up isn't that loud.

I know, but I was wondering if he just put it on. They tend to be louder when you're breaking it in.

He said the mic was placed next to the outlet pipes - thus loud sound.

Mauros, Love the video, hood and wheels.

I would very much appreciate more detail on the gauges. Step by step instructions, materials needed and source as well as the pictures. Not everyone is as creative or as handy as you are.

I don't smoke and with the Nav unit, there isn't really any other place to put such gauges in the car. Thanks in advance!!!!

I WANT YOUR AUTO CLIMATE CONTROLL!!!! The EDFC in the dash there looks awsome, so do the two gauges in the ashtray, very clean looking. Id def. have to say that the Varis hood is the nicest one out there for the RX8... except for a CF Veilside D1GT hood of course

Im interested to hear an out of car video of the exhaust. Like driving away from the camera. I have a RP high-flow cat and I'm tossing around the idea of the SP2 with it but I think it's gonna be really loud. Especially after seeing that video...

Any way you can make that happen for me?

P.S. I love the car!!

It only takes like 2-2.5 miles I think. Or are the roads in Greece really short?

I've been to Greece and Crete and I don't remember any roads that long but I'm sure are you just need to know where to look. the problem with Europe is that it seems all the roads are really narrow.

Would you like to see some long *** roads where rx7's,m5's, m6's, and other cars go way over 300km? We can actually speed over the limit a hell of a lot easier than you guys in the states-it kind of sucks for you having a 65mph speed limit doesn't it and state troopers everywhere, huh!?

Uhhh... maybe I'm too square but driving 150mph with one hand on the bottom of your steering wheel is for ηλίθια ηλίθιοι.
