that looks like the phantom blue "mazdaspeed" model, they had a few of those come out a while back in silver and that blue, nothing major done to them other than an army of Mspeed accessories though.

yep, looks like the stratos blue. Or whatever it is, strato...stratos, either way, it is the one color I like more than my Ti. I really wish they would give us that color here in the states. That is a nice looking car.

I'm pretty sure thats the "Strut (or maybe Strato!?) Blue Mica" (or something like that) the color of the Mazdaspeed ver.II...

stratos blue is what i meant to say...oooops I don't know what that blue is called, for whatever reason I thought it was phantom, but phantom is the 06 teal-ish looking blue not the darker blue in that pic.

Well regardless of what that color is called....it's BEAUTIFUL! The Japanese always have to keep all the cool stuff for themselves......... strato blue, Nissan Skyline, etc. ha ha.

Someone took a pic of a stormy blue rx8 and posted them on the boards here,.but i cant find them . he parked his winning blue close to it to see the difference. but i think US is suppose to get color similar to the pic posted.

i think UK spec vehicles get this color as well. Also saw in the japanese web tune site there is two blues , one is the winning blue and i think this is the other one, also they have two kinds of grey? the color change thing in the website do not really do judgement on the real color what they actually are. Anyways I loved this blue.

is there a difference between strato blue and stormy blue? we got the stormy blue here in US, and it looks like the pic in the OP. Just curious. Maybe this thread is too dead to resurrect.
