Well I traded my Miata in...
for this...

It's got pretty much everything I wanted except 6-Disc CD.
Only paid $15k for it, but it has 52k miles so...
Anyhow, just thought I'd say hello. You may see me rolling around here a little more now.

The car looks shiny.
I pretty much did the same thing back in Nov '03 except that I bought it new. I do miss being able to put the top down. I can't see a moonroof. Good thing, it's more annoying than anything.
Anyway, welcome to the forum.

nav is usually an option that the grand touring package comes with and yours is either sport or base judgeing from the cloth seats so thats why its odd and somewhat rare.....as for the disc you should be able to get some better answers on a replacement here

Yeah, I was just looking through the options. I apparently already have the Sirius hookup, but I don't plan to use it.
I'm likely going with the MP3 option... I've still got all of my MP3 discs from when I had a MSP.

you can get the breakdown of the options on the mazda site but for the most part there the levels are from the bottom up base, sport, touring, grand touring, shinka in the US. overseas there are other breakdowns and options such as 5 speed manual with the 4 port....

I have a yellow sport with nav. Really didn't want the nav - have probably had the screen up a dozen times in 2 years - but, it's there!!
PS Black is so sexy when it's clean - make a good home for him!!
Thanks guys. I had no idea my combo was so rare.
I only wish it actually played DVDs or something then it would be more usefull. I don't suspect I'll use it very often.

Come to think of it, there was at least a couple other cars set up the same way when I bought mine. I didn't want the leather or the sunroof and a lot of the other features, so I was down to buying a sport mt. I didn't want the nav, but all the sports my dealer had, had nav. I got the last yellow one they had.
My guess is, it's just a dealer thing. If cars with navs sale good in a particular area, the cars get ordered with navs.
I'd rather had my $2000.
