WBRX8's RX8 Project

This will act like a journal, showing the updates I do to my car. I have a 2004 Mazda RX8, I am a Senior in Highschool, the begining of the modifications I to do my car are going to be little things here and there, but this is also to intorduce myself to everyone and show how my RX8 will come to be. I bought my RX8 on August 18th, from carmax. Called up Mazda to make sure the car was up to date with the callbacks and it was. So here it is.

Good luck, the mod bug bites hard and deep with this car. Beware!

Interesting, I like Laminix?

Let us know if there are any parts that you might need while on your journey of modding.

Stop triple posting/bumping your own thread. There is and Edit button for a reason. Other than that, looks good.

Is it just me, or is the car leaning towards the passenger side? Other than that looks sweet.

I bought my Tein S Tech springs over thanksgiving weekend. Now that I was on winter break I was finally able to install my springs on sunday. Took a while, but this suspension is easier to work on than the subaru wrx, in my opinion. Ok now for the pictures

Tein Springs

Stock F. Assembly

Tein Front

Rear Stock

Rear Tein

Stock Ride Height F.

After Tein Install F. Height

Stock Ride Ht. R.

After Tein Install R. Ht.

Yesterday I got the alignment on it. And had him do these custom settings. On the caster that was the maximum he was able to get out of it to match.

Front:
Camber -0.9
Caster 6.6
Toe 0.10

Rear
Camber -1.4
Toe 0.15

*the tire picuters dont do justice so I will try to post up a full side shot.

You should wait 2-3 weeks before taking your *after* pic.

You'll be able to notice it WAY more then.

Rotary Power: Thanks bro and I will

aboogabooga: yup yup, both cars are awesome!! I love drving the rex, and we have a whole revamp going on this week for it. An 18G turbo, and front mount intercooler, injectors, inlet pipe, fuel pump, the works. Its going to be putting down some good number when the dyno day comes by on friday.
