Video stills treat!
OK, I have somthing to share... With some careful work I've been able to make the most of the latest mazda promo video.
Enjoy... (And tell me what you think.. pulling quality images from the video wasn't ideal).

Thanks for the stills man...
Thanks for capturing those still photos for us man. The car looks better looking everytime I look at it.
For seeing the pictures of the red one from sevenstock and the grey one near Mazda headquaters, I was starting to think the car was a little too tall, long, and narrow. The pictures from the video make the car look more hunkered down (lower and more aggressive) and I like it.

i think i'll leave the outlining trick to grimmy! that was a pain to do as i've only got MS photo editor and MS paint to work with. i brought the pic into photo editor to change the bright and contrast to make the shape stand out better, then i had to save those changes. then i had to bring the pic into paint to draw my circle and stuff and save it as a bmp, then open it again in photo editor and save it again as a jpeg to make it small enough to upload.
i hope you haven't had to go thru that every time grimace!

This software is awesome and it's FREE... but more importantly it's OPEN.
For the main site, look at http://www.gimp.org, but remember that you need to make sure you get the Windows version if you're gonna use that... so to to the longer link if you're unsure.

Love that red!
You know, as much as I like the thought of that car in dark blue, that red just looks better and better every time I see it. It's not too overwhelmingly bright like a candy-apple, but it is very stylish, eye-catching, and downright pretty.

It was pretty time consuming getting them to come out so they didn't look like a chess board, a fast moving mpeg movie isn't ideal for that, but I was motivated. Anyway, what else am I gonna do at 2am LOL. I must have played the video a hundred times to get the framing right on them all...
I just wish the power slide was more close up, I could have done a lovely one of that... Did anyone notice the exhaust in the overhead view of the power slide... cool, all we need now is flames.
