Nice video! Are you running the legamax or single tip?

Oh also it must be the legamax cause you can see the other tip. That and the single tip hks exits on the driver side.

 

havnt takin it for a good thrashing since i done it cuple days ago but yea it swnds alot beter i recon.

ur car takes a REALLY long time to start, and i have the same exhaust lol

 

yea im guessing its because its done 145000kmz. compression might be starting to get crap. and the way i drive doesnt help. time for a rebuild and porting.
its a good exhaust ae, love the way it sounds

 

The car does not take that long to start.
Man everyone is soooo sensitive about this starting stuff.

My wife's Rav4 takes a few cranks to start just like this car did.

What pisses me off the most is that Catalytic converter looked fine and he destroyed it, those things are worth over 1500 brand new!

For the love of all that's holy I would have sent this guy a freaking midpipe in exchange for his cat and paid the shipping.

This would help out people alot if they would list their cat pipe as a WTT instead of gutting a perfectly good one.

 

=/ like i said on my vid i got a second hand spare 1 for $250 because i thort my 1 was stuffed. turns out it wasn't.... was looking at midpipes but there was not 1 option cheaper than smashing out the spare 1.
sooooooo... got bored smashed it out. didnt cost me $1500 so couldnt care less haha

 

Apparently you do care, because he couldn't or didn't want to buy a or afford a midpipe.

And you are missing my point, a used working RX8 Catalytic is worth at least 400 you could probably get 700-800.

You could buy a brand new midpipe (with no cat) for 270!
I would bought this for you brand new and shipped it to you in exchange for you catalytic.

That's what I'm trying to say.

BTW I hope you wore a respirator of some sort of good quality.
You absolutely do not want to breath in the dust from the Catalytic Elements

thank you for doing that. I have a cat that will not allow me to get to high rpm so driving it sucks. but if someone know if i could clean it first and if that does not work then I will gutt it. any help would be helpfull before i go to that exstrm.

 

You can't clean it.

 

chances are if it is ur CAT causing that your CAT is damaged and will need replacing, take it off and give it a shake if its stuffed shld rattle or the insides will start falling out

we don't have those crapy emissions laws over here in NZ (yet ) so only thing that is anoying is the CEL. but il just reset the computer when i need a warrent and shldnt come back on til afta thats done
