wow! that really looks amazing. some new boots and your set! i'd be afraid about dropping it though. looks like the front lip might get scraped up (more so) if it gets any lower

Yea, I think lowering it is "snow plow" suicide. So unfortunately that height will have to do.

if it is a true veilside kit it is pretty sturdy....i have had my car at -8F which im not sure of the conversion but it was just fine.....its thicker than the replicas by about 3X so i been ok with it...but i did have a beater for the really horrible snow storms

Do not buy a replica, spend the little bit extra and buy the authentic thing. The real one will be gel coated white, and will have the veilside stamp and serial on the inside.
It's a nice kit, but you do need to spend a bit of money on a custom paint job. I have yet to see a veilside kit that looked good without a two tone effect.
