Uhh Ohh...Snow!
Well, I was about to make my way to work...pull out of the garage...make a slight running start out of the driveway because theres a slight slope and the snow plows slightly plow us in...well right at the end of my driveway as my front end is in the road...my traction control kicks in and I get stopped....I can't move forward at all...my only choice was to try to back up at a wierd angle as straight back wouldn't go....I ended up going back into my yard (didn't know I was that far back)...and ended up sliding about 5 feet more back...and digging myself a nice hole....
Enjoy...
You can see just how caked my back tires are with mud.

My insurance paid for the tow truck...as there was no way in hell I was getting out without one...I checked and theres no damage (unless it rubbed my underspoiler which nobody sees).

You have a guard rail in your yard? wth?
I've made the same running start at snow-plow-humps. The first time it happened to me I was stuck *out* of my driveway with my wife's van. It had been a long day, I was in no mood for such an obstruction so I backed up down the street and charged at it. At the last second I wondered if the airbags might pop out from the jolt and then I was through it.
We get a few challenges here with the ice and snow. Our driveway is L-shaped. Straight in off the street, then turns right to tuck behind the house. My wife likes to back up far enough to get stuck in the yard - wish my tow truck driver did punch cards for a freebie like the coffee shop does. Yeah, when you strike mud under the snow you know you're done - time to call for a truck.
