Well I just got my car back after not having it for a month.

I decided to hit up one of the many many wine trails southern Illinois has to offer. There are hundreds of miles of twisty roads through forests, over prairies, over hills, you name it.

Here are some random pictures I took all with my cellphone. I need to take some more of some of the corners, there are 3-4 bank S curves with a 50-75 foot elevation change littered all through out wine country! I recommend it to anyone!

ooh..looks like a awesome road to accidently haul *** with little issues with the law..lol

 

out of 85 mile round trip, and a couple hours, i passed maybe 2 random pick-up trucks! Its a beautiful thing.

should have a southern IL 8 meet and tear up some roads. there are so many of them it is crazy. you could wander for hours and never pass the same intersection.

 

Nice... being an ex-chicagoan i can appreciate those back roads....

It is the wine trails south of murphysboro, just south west of carbondale
