Strato Blue (sometimes seen as "strut," probably just bad translation) was a color that was available on all non-US RX-8's a few years back, including the limited Mazdaspeed version sold only in Japan. Strato Blue is a dark blue with hints of purple. Stormy Blue is similar, but not as purple. Definitely a different color. The one in the picture here looks like Stormy Blue. Besides, that color is currently in production and Strato isn't.

I wouldn't be suprised if they are just coated like that for show and are actually the same. The lighting and reflections could be making them appear to look different. No 13B rotor looks like that. Not even clean.

I could be wrong as I never saw the Strato Blue in person but my impression was more of a straight darker blue that it didn't have as much of a multi-color shift to it as the Stormy Mica (which is the second best color on the 8 IMO
