Thank you Belkin

I'm also curious how this is mounted/wired. Were any mods necessary to get it so cleanly installed?

That's the one.
The charger is plugged into the cigarette lighter area (because it powers on and off with the car). The aux cable is wired from their under the center consol to the aux input behind the cup holders for Series 2.
The kit comes with an aux extension cable to make the run.
The only thing you need to remove is the shift **** and plastic panel from cup holders to cigarette lighter area. It's just held in by a couple clips.

Looking at your picture, I see where you ran the wire above the flap to the cigarette lighter (and presumably on to the aux jack as well). I'm surprised it fit, but it does look nice in the end.
Anyway, thanks for posting. I've been considering getting a bluetooth for my SII, and this looks like a really clean, well integrated option.
How is the sound quality for phone calls? Some of the reviews looked a little iffy there.

Can you change tracks easily using that pod? I got warned by the NYPD about having my iPhone or any "internet-connected" device in my hands while driving.
Luckily he gave me a break when I told him I was just changing tracks.

It does kind of suck that such a high-res device is running iOS instead of something more robust, but it didn't stop me from picking 2 up.
1 for me, and 1 to make a small profit when supply dwindles in a few days.
Also, I love Android, I am not an Apple fanboy. My Galaxy Nexus is the best phone/device I've ever owned.
