First time for me seeing this. I will admitt I've considered doing my center interior similar to this as opposed to the seats. Wasn't sure how it would look. Still not so sure ...

it's still the same car, it's not like he took the rotary engine out and put it in a yugo's body!

 

A monument to bad taste. It's a personal thing, of course, but I always wonder what beauty people see in this sort of treatment.

 

Get rid of the wing, graphics, painted interior pieces, and it looks good again

 

I'll take the rotors and calipers, the wing looks absolutely stupid and for what purpose...is the car getting a-bit loose at 200? Takes a damn classy car down to Honda boy-racer level in my opinion.

 

The wing has to go. It ruins the car.

 

It's ok overall, not my style but not bad. I have to agree with the wing though, it really has to go. If the angle of that spoiler went any higher, it would be vertical.

Remember this is a show car. Show cars are always very over the top as far as I have seen. Why else 3 LCD's? Blue anodized plastic on a dark gray car? etc.

Anyway, I personally dont like the car, but hey, I am sure someone does.

 

get rid of the decals/wacky paint and the wing, make the inside softer and itll be tight

so i have been talking to the shop whos building this car and this is a quote from the owner

" when the rx8 is done import tuner is doing a photoshoot for cover .. and the pix will soon be on up on both my sites "

also the engine is getting dressed up by some custom panels by carbon creations, personnally i think this car is one of the best rx8's on the road to date along with vivids car and carisma's car. My 8 will be a bit more subtle than these but will look similar so maybe all you persons with negative opinions might change your minds after seeing all the attention our cars are getting compared to the average stock 8, I personnaly love all cars, i would love to have a orange gto judge in my garage but the times have changed and currently the race inspired tuners of today tend to lead the market for future trends. IMO

This isn't my car, unfortunitly. It is Team Hybrid's.
As for the Gauges you were talkin about, I think one is a oil presure gauge and other is a fuel gauge??? who knows?? But then they just cut out the ashtray and made a custom case for the gauges.

 

truthfully i admit..if i saw it i would look twice..but...the rims, graffix, and wing really have to go...he should also put an extra seat in the back for those 3 tv's....
