Yes we are two different people! Also about MikeB being a hog, what does he do? Makes a lot coments? Big deal, he doesn't post a bunch of nonsense and rude comments about you and your RX8's. You guys just talk crap because he is doing something with his car and not just looking at it!

 

um, ok.

I do subtle & tasteful upgrades to cars, however I do not drop the entire price of one car into another...i.e., spending $20k to mod a Civic to death, only to get it stolen, and get nothing back for it.

already Mikeb is spending like its the end of the world with wonderful mods like aluminum gas caps, carbon fiber B pillars, etc. I can't wait until he drops it 3 inches and starts painting the entire interior red.

 

I funny thing is that "We modified the civic when we were 19 & 20 years old". Now his 22 and still can modify a new car to hell and back and still can afford to buy ten more, unlike you, you broke JRKOFF!

So get over it !!!!!!!

I never said I was broke. I choose not to waste all that money into a brand new car. Cars depreciate in value over time, not APPRECIATE. You would be good in Real Estate though. Sinking all that money would in turn prove to be quite beneficial when you sell the home.

But on cars, it is the biggest waste. Enjoy. :p

Yeah, he made it into a car he felt was the only Civic that looked like that, but then it got stolen. If I remember correctly, he had BMW fenders installed on them, and when they recovered the car after being stolen, the car was gutted except for the fenders.

It's funny, even the thieves had taste.

 

Oh, I didn't realize this forum's sole purpose was to discuss how to mod the hell out of a car. I thought it was a central place to exchange information of all kinds. But I see why you belong to this forum.

My .02 cents:

Car forums are generally populated by car enthusiasts, by owners with questions, and by potential owners. All have different reasons for being here.
However, many forum members are interested in "modding" their cars. If its tastefull or not is none of our business. Sure we are entitled to our opinions, but that, in my opinion, does not justify being offensive towards anyone.

If anyone wants to spend a ton of money in their cars, and if that makes them happy, by all means let them. If you think its a waste, don't spend your money. People have different hobbies and priorities... and some seem to argue for all the wrong reasons.

i like mikes parts...besides the strakes..but mike has good taste...

Tthe hook up shop rx7 is a very famous rx7... like u can buy posters of it in australia...
