I thought it was fairly easy to obtain one and import it to the U.S.... but to register it in the U.S. is a different story (I think over $6K has to be invested so it can be registered). Although this info could be flawed...

well its not hard to own one in US, but hard to legally have it being driven on the street. you can always have it as a track car though.

aye. back when i first seen that car (which was back in 91 -92, driving with my friend) i thought it was a toyota starlet turbo. but then we seen the hood wth all the vents (pulsar hood) and we knew this was the Nissan Pular that every one was talking about at time (magazine). we was in shocked, look so clean for its time. any how it pulls up against a supra which was in front of us. they both take off and that thing out ran the supra like it was racing a RX8 lol.

i was telling my friend, i want that car lol. which is pretty funny, last weekend i asked my brother. if therre is any car would give up your evo 8 for , what would it be. he says Pulsar GTI-r for sure.

but i believe NIssan Primera GTI-r taken its place after 94+ . its a 4 door sedan awd, same front as Pulsar.

ty wolverine. brings back memories of my teen age

The 3 door version of the car looks a lot better.

Also, thanks to Wolverine for continuously updating this thread.

Yeah, so many special cars in Japan - learned of most in the first 2 Gran Turismo games.

Here's the only Nissan Pulsar the US got... lol
