Used or "2nd hand" as they call it here are considerably cheap, it's just a matter of knowing where to look. New wheels are a different story, they're just as expensive back in the states but only easier to obtain since there's a lot more supply and you don't have to wait for shipping.

 

I'd rather keep the original than waste money on these.

Looking into that Weber Sports front?

 

Someone with a huge wallet and an S2 needs to get this kit, and the wheels compliment it so well.

 

Why yes I was, but the price stopped me cold for now...

 

^$800+ USD before shipping then add in paint and any minor bodywork and the price is more likely $2000+.

I noticed their rear lip spoiler looks the same as the eBay lip spoiler. I wonder if the eBay sellers replicated Weber Sports. Funny thing is the spoiler has been around for a couple of years but Weber Sports just released their new parts.

I just wish more aftermarket bumpers/aero was made of Metton and not FRP. If they were, I assume the cost wouldn't be worth it unless your a huge firm like Mazda that can/did produce a large number of Mazdaspeed aero kits.

 

Metton is more bendable?

lighter than carbon? or fairly light?

 

Metton is what the Mazdaspeed bumpers are produced of. It's extremely durable, it's flexible like urethane although it retains it shape much better.
