Super Autobacs in Japan and other various JDM pics
a friend of mine found one of these for 500 bucks, then lost interest in it and sold it for 500, (it needed an engine, what do 4ag's cost, like 50 bucks?) I kept trying to tell him to keep it but he kept saying, "they don't make anything for it and I can't do anything with it"..... nice one

lol not sure why i let my friend talked me into painting them yellow. i guess since he had a dark blue levin, he wanted us to match . then when he painted his white, he convinced me to paint mine white lol. then i went back to the stock gunmetal color. guess being 17 at the time, i really didtn care if it looked weird lol. but to be honest, it looked pretty good. jsut prefer the gunmetal and black watanabes.
canary, ill call my friend in okinawa to see how much a junked trueno/levin engine is going for. since there is like millions of them sitting in junk yards. ill pm you later if you like to know the amounts.

man makes me miss my 2nd car (trueno) i always like the flip up lights. never been the fan of the Levin. mine was dark blue, with watanabe rims (like the one in my sig). i had them painted 3 times. first time was yellow , then i painted them white, then i went back to gun metal lol.

Yeah, I'm sure they cost more than 50 bucks but still, he could have built something pretty sweet for like 2k tops I would think? He sold it to some kids that were going to slap a Mr2 motor in it, probably should have gotten their number as I'd love to see that
The one he found was red, and mostly intact, no rust, only minor wear and tear, we're both friends with body techs and painters so it's not like it would have cost much to get it running and pretty looking 
Oh well, he might be getting laid off soon so it's probably an omen he didn' take on a pseudo costly project.
