Sorta looks like a Suzuki Swift at first glance because of the race bodywork; but my bet is it's a DAIHATSU COPEN

And it's the retractable Hardtop model ( if you look along the roofline above the front windscreen you can see the join ) , they also make a ragtop

Daihatsu is the most popular "Kei" car type in Japan, and Toyota have a controlling interest in Daihatsu
I've driven an earlier model that was ( aftermarket ) Turbo'd with a lot of trick suspension parts + it was more like a 4-wheel motorcycle than a car; just great Fun!
