Suggestions and Opinions Wanted

I am finally to a point that I wanted to post some images and get your comments and suggestions on where to go from here. This forum has been an unbelievable asset to me and I wanted to thank everyone for their DIY's and other useful information. The two things that I am currently working on are CP Racing front and rear strut bars (on order) and to paint my calipers and hubs. I am not looking to go with FI until after my warranty is over but other than that I am open to suggestions. Thanks for looking and giving me your opinion.

My opinion: It looks GREAT.
It is odd though that your drop seems greater than mine and I have the S tech springs...
Maybe its your rims, can you post their sizes + offsets?

My wheels are 18x8 with a 40mm offset. I don't know how long you have had your springs on, but it took between 750-1000 miles before they finished settling. I'm not sure why mine took so long to settle but now there is two fingers of space between the wheel and the tire all around.

Ghost -

It's time to paint calipers...we have the same rims, except mine are 19's and my painted calipers look great with them. Red will look good with your Ti.Gray.
BTW - I'm in Indy - like to see your car sometime.

any pics St.Char? I ask because the rims on gray ghost's 8 look big already, and I would like to see how 19's in that rim look.

Your car looks great. A little off subject, but I love your cooler screens in the front. How much did those run you?

I bought the oil cooler and radiator screens from Racing Beat for $80+s/h. You can get just the oil cooler screens for $19ea+s/h. The install on them is easy and they do a good job of protecting the oil coolers.

Which wheels are they? I have a Ti Gray, and I think they go good with the color of the car.

Looks great man. You, St. Char and myself all have the same rims too. I got the 19x8.5 in the front and 19x9.5 in the rear though with 235s on the front and 265s on the back. Would be interested to know where u got them if u want to send me a pm. Now I am stuck wondering which suspension to go with. I have 19k miles on the car, and want to make sure I have no warranty issues.

What kind of wax do you use? That has a great shine to it. I can never seem to get that!

I think it looks great; definitely get the calipers painted. Red looks great on the setup you have, I painted mine with VHT Red Paint and got the stencils from polak and used VHT Silver to paint the letters. The only suggestion I have is that you paint the oil cooler grills black, I think the look better and don't stand out as much. But nevertheless sweet ride... :D

Great pictures of a fine looking car! The lighting is perfect for the Ti Gray. Well done!

I agree with otrovago about the oil cooler grills. I prefer black as I think it ties in better with the black of the grill and makes the front look more symmetric, IMHO.

I've also never been crazy for the strakes on the Ti Gray but you pictures may make me change my mind.

I wanted to thank everyone that gave their opinions and suggestions. I have the Polak stencils and caliper paint in the garage but haven't decided on black or silver for the calipers and hubs.

St.Char - pm me and we can get together sometime.

Huff04titanium - How do you like the staggered setup? I thought about going staggered but I wanted to be able to rotate the tires. I have been very happy with the RB sways and H Tech spring combination. It really improved the handling without ruining the ride quality.

rkostolni - For the first year I used Meguiars gold class wax, polish, and quick detailer. In February I had Diamond Gloss protectant put on so now I just wash it and then quick detail it.

Thanks again for the feedback.

If you're going to keep the kit you currently have, the only thing I would add is the front splash guards. I think they complete the look of the appearance package, AND they seem to keep the rock chips down on the side flares on mine. Nice ride.
