Generally, if you see a car coming right at you... In the split second that you have to make a decision, you don't really go straight to... "If I just let them hit me then their insurance will have to pay! I'm gonna play chicken with this motherf@&%er!!!"

I think it usually goes straight to "Oh ****, turn wheel fast and hard regardless of what you are turning into!" haha...


OP- Damn dude, that sucks. Hopefully it won't be too hard to get all fixed up like new... Did you scrape along-side the curb or did the wheel go over it?

 

Typically, running off the road means another car next to you is, well, running you off the road, lol.
Luckily with our engine so far back, if I were to get hit in the front, and they were to, idk, flee.. The engine could still go, depending on the damage. Believe me, I'd be in a pissed off state of mind and would go after them cop style, sort of..

also, my dad told me a story about someone he knew.. They got hit by some guy in a truck, and apparently he didnt have insurance or license or something, because he got back in his truck and took off.. Didnt take a pic of his plates.. And again, in that situation.. I would run back into my car and chase them down.

God I hope I'm never in any of those situations though, I dont have time for games

 

I like homebrew superheroes. Modern cars are undrivable after the airbags are deployed plus why start a chase when all you need is their license plate?

Police? a reckless driver hit my car and ran away, he's driving a ford focus with this number plate. I think i need medical assistance.
If you have witnesses that's the best option. Omission of any kind of help to an injured driver + reckless driving + running away is way worse than the random dude chasing you.

the accident happen during a turn on one of those dead turns where u cant see the other car till u actually turn well this jack a$$ decides to speed and tried to hit the turn so i jerked out the way if i went head on it would of been ugly im sure he seen me hit the curb and my rear wheel came off and the and damaged some of my rear quarter panel. the front and rear passenger side suspenion was done blew the struts axle came off,******** didnt stop he just kept going so i was unable to get any info and yes my insurrance is paying for the whole thing.car is in the shop right now should get it back in a week,
