Man... That is the EXACT one I want, but the whole state of CA do not have it...

 

I saw a stormy blue with sand interior at the local autoshow recently, looked really good. Not as black as some of these shots show. A really nice deep blue but lighter than navy. If something were to happen to mine I'd go with Stormy/sand or Phantom/sand.

those are some really nice pics to show off this color. many didn't like this color when it first came out, but you have to see it in the sun to see how nice it is.

arrow - nice pics of the 8 in the sunlight to show the color better. it is a really gorgeous color. i love the sand colored interior with it. it brightens up and makes the interior look more rich.

Question...what percent tint is that? I'm thinking of tinting my 8 35% all around (but with sand interior I'm not sure if it's dark enough). Oh, I forgot to mention the cops in VA are **** about tinting and being a young driver won't help much either.

 

thanks for all the complements. the sunlight will bring out the metalic flakes inside the paint. without the sunlight the blue paint appears ordinary

coastie - I didnt want to go too dark, i went with 20% rear and back window, 35% front. so far no problems with the local sheriff department.

 

****, seeing the color of this car makes me want to wait around and save up and just get a brand new 07 RX-8

 

All these pics look awesome but in person I thought it was way to purple. Maybe it was just the lighting. I only looked at it a couple min.
