kane's car is phantom blue. Like mine. I don't have gold wheels, or a huge turbo, tho. Stormy Blue is the darker blue, phantom is the luminescent, greenish, gold flake-filled color.

i think the new oem rotary-accented wheels on the 2009 rx-8 would look sick on a stormy blue mica. they are just awesome imo!
i'm actually toying w/ the idea of getting those rims when i have to replace my tires- some 20k+ miles from now. 13K more miles to go... :P

Here's the enkei evo6's on my stormy blue mica. I like them but i'm going to get the enkei RZ-5's just because the evo6's only come in 7.5" wide, and with my (235) tires it just feels wobbly, because there's to much sidewall, and the rim is too narrow for that fat of a tire. The RZ-5's come in wider 8.5 and 9.5 if needed. I may get 8.5" all around or 7.5" in the front and 8.5 in the rear. We will see. Here's the pics:

Just my opinion, but I think wheels either the same color or lighter colored than the car always look best. The rare exception is the white 8, it is hard to find something lighter than white.lol eddybear, if you can't find pics than you will just have to be the brave one to start the trend. Good luck.

Here are couple of mine mate , and I know chromies ain't for everyone...Although its just in the meantime and + i like em a little for now ...Im currently still trying to decide(like you), on which new rims will replace them in the near future (Black SSR Pro II / Volks / FR Simmonds are in mind)...Theres a huge variety out there, as you know ... But at the end of the day, its what you like, that matters Eddybear.
