i bought my RX8 completly stock (base line) and now i added some mods. just got it back today from getting the Aero packager painted and installed

Mods- Aero package
Color coated Fender strikes
30% tint
Clear side markers
Rear rotary accent
Borla Exhaust
RB Ram Air
18" Bormet Rims





it does have BridgeStone Bilzakks in the winter

 

Everything is great, Borla exhaust is my favorite exhaust, I'm just not a big fan of the wheels.

 

hmm...everything is great except for the wheels. not as bad as some others I shall not mention. for some reason the silver kind of hides the hideousness of the wheels. (hides, hideousness hehehe)

 

I think they actually look pretty good. Nice job.

looks so much nicer now. I have the rims you had, id take anything over them haha so yeah your new ones dont look too bad.

how much did you spend on the aero package i want some

 

thans guys... everyone has thier own opinions.. i personally love my rims.. i havent really seen them on any car before and i think it matches the paint. but what ever.. the aero package parts cost be $275 for the parts and painting $250 and install was $200 to a total of $725.. its a little more than i wanted to spend on it but it was worth it..

 

not entirely huge on the rims, but I bet they could grow on me.

I think the rims are great.

They are a bit too flashy for my taste.....but in terms of rims that make a statement, they do that well.

 

i would also take anything over the 16's that are on my new RX8. Think im getting black ones? (cars painted black)

 

How did you find an appearance package for so cheap?

And is your car titanium gray or galaxy gray?

 

my car is the 2004 so it is the titanium gray.. i am part of a rx8 club locallly and a guy took his off and put a body kit on. so i got his side sills and rear flares for 125 and a nice guy in madison wisconsin sold me his front lip for 150... just look around and you will find it.. yeah a lot of people dont like my rims but i got a good deal on them and i personally like them.. and anything is better than those 16" rims

I kinda like the rims. I have the same rims in 17x7 for my winter rims. They were the best looking of my choices/price range. However I found that once they were on they looked better than I had expected.

 

definitely go with black on black. that would look sick.

 

Not sure why there's so much hate on the rims. I think they look really sick. They match the titanium really nicely (which may be my favorite color on this car) and I like the look of the 5 spoke. They also extend all the way to the lip, so the wheels look bigger than they are. Really nice look! I know it may not be for everyone, but they are really tight.

Where did you get them from?
