never tracked my 8 before but it looks like the 8 does pretty well against other decently fast cars around the track :O

nope, both have suspension, exhaust etc... upgrade.

Do you believe the sti-driver is on full attack? I do not.
I was on track with my rx enough times to know on this course the sti is faster. You can it see on the vid from behind

 

Never said he couldn't catch up. Just cornering wise is not at the best.

 

I think this is another example of driver skill rather than a comparison of cars.

On such vids it is difficult to see the background. maybe they are friends and the leader introduces the scooby-driver? Or it's the first time for the scooby-driver on this track and he likes to know where's the best line?

But your are right. the rx8s are good at corners. on bracks as well compare to other stock-bracks.
