yea, plenty of us here smoke/black out our lights. whether it be vinyl or spray.

i think those are vinyl because you can see a little sticker on the passenger side light... but it could be a reflection?

Red is what I'm wanting to do (if I could get some decent weather). I think it will look good on my WWP as I'm tired of the stock lights. What's better: film or spray?

spray is easier to put on but its not removable in case you get in trouble for it.

in trouble for what? Breaking no FL laws with mine. reflectors inside still work. signals are red, and reverse lights were rewired to an auxilary fog in the bumper, like the minis have. Check the thread "New reverse light for my 8"

yeah its illegal in california and probably some other states as well.

it's illegal in Cali??....I had a cop tell me they were a lil too dark...and to lighten it alittle...but not that they were absolutely illegal

Yep, I don't think red is illegal anywhere as long as you reflect and illuminate.

Black is good on black/red/white....and I am assuming that that would look good on a silver 8 too? What do you think?
