The Calgary Police RX-8 (they also have a VW Beetle, a VW Jetta, a Mini, a PT Cruiser and a couple of Hummer H1's which are used as mobile command bases)

 

Just for sh*t's n giggles, here I am in a Silver RX-8, my dream car.... suits me, don'tcha think? :D I'm gonna be getting an RX-8 in summer 2005, as my graduation present to myself

Is "Cops for Kids" the Canadian equivalent of that waste of money we call "D.A.R.E"?

 

Heh, at least 'Cops for Kids' is better than 'Priests for Kids' !!

 

Cops for Kids is a Calgary initiative that goes around to schools and kiddy events. They do it, like I've said, in a whole whack of cars, except, for some odd reason, the RX-8 is on civilian duty (ie going to schools and kiddy events) while the VW bug is a traffic control car and the PT Cruiser belongs to the bylaw enforcement unit. You would expect the RX-8 to be an interceptor or a patrol car or somethings :P

Sure, there cops out there wo are dicks, but dont generalize. Remember that to be a cop means your willing to risk your life to help others. Every copy that has ever pulled me over relaxed as soon as I was polite to him/her.

You should see the looks i get driving my rx-8 from the cops.
They like to get right behind me. (probally to run the plates --HA I havent got them yet)

So I just set the cruse control on 65 and just keep on like their not even their.
I pay my taxes ,work hard to suport my self, ill be d@mned if im going to be profiled.
Just for a good laugh i like to wave when I catch the pork stairing

Whoa! Those designs look like they came from children's anime... I don't understand why the Police would need an RX-8 though.

 

DARE is pretty pointless, all they do is tell you not to take drugs over and over for 2 strait weeks. I mean go out and serve and protect, our teachers and parents/guardian can do that for them.

 

I'm not a cop, but on behalf of any that may be on here, same to you.

 

Cops aint that bad, they save our asses, non of them are perfect, their human like us and will have their bad days and make mistakes and pay for them.

as much as I dislike the traffic cops (as much as the next guy, I suppose), if it weren't for them, there'd be a lot more chaos we'd have to put up with, so don't knock the cops, they've probably already saved your life and you don't even know it.

Well... as you can tell by my laughter, I am overjoyed that something as mindblowingly insane as the Mercedes A-Class (called the Smart in N.A.) can even be made :P

 

I know that Meowloud meant this in fun, but someone needs to speak up for all the good ones out there, cops and priests both. I know from personal experience that many, many good guys are being lumped in with the bad ones... and they simply don't deserve it.

I agree with you. In San Francisco, they just like to pull some one over, and give them a @#$% attitude.
I got a friend who got pull over and the cops play him for almost an hour. they told him to do the alcohol test and told him to do this and do that, but he didn't drink or do anything while he drive......
some of the cops have so much power, and they just like to ******* around. i heard the san francisco cops need to meet the min ticket requirement, and some of them are just give out the unreasonable and unexceptable ticket to people.

I saw sosososs many people suffer with that already.... so are you guy saying cops is good....
