Now im contemplating if i should keep the diamond cut finnish or have the center portion of the wheels painted gloss black........

that top picture is awesome.

and IMO, leave the rims. You have a lot of black there already, I like the look of your rims, and painting them might loose that. But it is your car, obviously.
