Ok, someone w/ rotary experience educate me (this is the 1st I've owned but have had 2 in the family - an RX-2 and a 2nd gen -7). I can see the points at which the spark plugs are in each rotor, but up front where all the spark plug wires originate - is that our equivalent of a distributor (cap)? Sorry - still holding out for a service manual once they can be gotten.

Awesome! See, that's what I love about this club - someone always has the answer and is willing to help. Doesn't hurt that there are so many former rotorheads that have moved up the number line either.
