Might as well burn off the summer tires then get the winter ones.

if you look carefully, he has different front and rear rims... assuming he's getting rid of the rubber, maybe even them stock rims themselves. Could be wrong though. Is that your tranny smoking or the tires?

are you serious?

just about any manual car can do this, all it requires is dropping the clutch to apply a level of horsepower that overpowers the grip of the tires. econo cars usually have econo tires so it usually still works.

I guess I should say, I don't have the ***** to do that to my car... something would probably break.

bleach? bitch, I should slap you ! ! ! haha!

hell no, no bleach and no freaking water, just pure fun

old tires. I had to get new rims and lighter ones considering my heavy azz chrome ones got bent hitting a curb side ways at about 40mph, haha that was fun too, but scary, cuz I was hoping I didnt bend more than the rimz . . .

nothing broke, its a rotary ! ! ! they get mad at you if you are too easy on them !

sorry to hear, rotary.enthusiast, glanced over that thread and I hate that! If you rev over like 8500 you got to keep it at shortish spurts. the water pump doesnt flow as good reving that high it will cavitate, so just remember that and deffinetly dont turn the engine off when hot, just cruise smoothly and allow to cool down and flow.

keep the maintenance up

DAmn, I havent heard so many worry worts in my freaking life ! ! !

ease up people, it was good times the tires were already trash, the tranny is fine, I have damn near 100,000 miles on her and she loved every min of it. The new tires and rims I had bought to replace the crap tires/rims were $1100 mounted and balanced. The new rims are lighter than the tires that are mounted on them. Alls good! She gets like 1000 miles a week put on her, I drive from Tally to Tampa every weekend! She is a work horse and as long as you maintain your ride it will perform!
