Rides pretty good so far. Got a slight bit of rubbing on the rear passenger side fender. Just got to remove the fender liner and I should be good. Probably going to raise the front a little bit because it's a PITA driving around town right now.

I finally received my coilovers, and threw them on my car. After I finish lowering it some more tonight, and get an alignment tomorrow, Ill go take some half decent (by my standards at least lol) pictures of it.

They're 17x9.5 +15 battles btw

Hey I got rid of mine, also doing some raising and gonna align to oem spec. Still gonna be low, but more I a track oriented look and the car will be driveable.

I only know of three including myself, adding to it that theirs are 18s. I like them though, being "unique" has never been a priority for me, if it looks good, its good.

JR-18 by Japan Racing, 18 x 9.5J et40. 10.2Kg per wheel

What sized tires are you guys running on these..... I am sitting on S-Techs with Koni Yellows and I'm looking at a set of 18x9.5 +30mm and I'm told I will have a good chance of rubbing...... no big deal if I need to roll fenders.

Currently running 18x9.5 +20 with 235/40 fits perfect with no rubbing and quarters are rolled. I had 245/40 Michelin PSS which run very wide and they rubbed the rear quarters alot. When it was time for new rubber I went down a size to 235s. But my car was much lower back then.

I have since raised my car by alot. I'll be getting 255/35 for my next tires. You can fit meaty tires if you slightly pull the rear quarters and cut down the bumper retainer tab. Also depends on how low you are but with Koni/Tein you prob won't have a huge problem. You can probably fit 18x9.5 +30 255/35 with a fender roll.

Awesome thanks for the info.... I will need a roll for sure.... Potentially a slight shave of the bumper tabs and corners I'm thinking just because when I hit some bigger bumps the tein's have much more travel than coil overs..... Eventually will move to some coil overs but for now this is what I'm dealing with

Looks great man!! Seems like you did a good job on the wrap and kudos for not ruining the VR. ;) wrap is the way to go for color changes on a whim :icon_tup:

I shaved the side markers, kinda used the amber lense as backing, reinforced and then smoothed over them.

That *almost* looks like phantom blue 32c without clear coat. IF it was I'd say just add clear coat and have the BEST color ever, none of that bleeding shooting out ass at high velocity diarrhea red sh*t :)

I still think VR is the most fitting color for these cars. However, I will say Montego Blue and Vintage Red on FD's look the best for them.

Maybe I'm just a fanboy for red. My girlfriends a redhead, so that explains alot of it.

I actually love Phantom Blue and Montego Blue Mica. Really there are no RX-8 or FD colors I hate, I just don't prefer Lightening Yellow, Competition Yellow Mica, and Nordic Green.
